Party???!!?

Ok im turning 15 soon and well i wanna throw a party.But my parents arent very rich and well we cant waste alot of money.I want a nice and good party not a bad one....and well i am gonna invite about 20 people..nothing big.It could be a poo;l party becuz we have a pool...but idk.


And i was wondering if anyone had any ideas on how to throw a good party? Or themes to a good party? Any help!?

GAMES: water balloons, water slides, water guns, and scavenger hunts, Twister, Truth or Dare, board games, card games, volley ball, soccer, beach balls, "TAG", Hide and Seek..lol, music, karaoke, watch movies, prank call, dance, make-overs, musical chairs, freeze dance, limbo, "WHO COULD EAT THE MOST HOT DOGS" contest, spin the bottle(if boys are there)..lol , maybe food fight or whipp cream fight





MUSIC: pop music, alternative rock, tropical music, dance music any music that you basically listen to





PRIZES: $5,$10,$15,$20 gift cards and 4 grand prize maybe $35 or $45 gift cards at(Target, Jamba Juice, Hollister, Vans, Juice It Up, Hot Topic, any places u shop at could be good gift cards and for other prizes a cute stuffed animal, King Size candy bar, or little makeup(chap stick, lip gloss, eye shadow stuff like that)or perfume and lotions.





THEMES: Hawaiian, Luau, Pretty in Pink, water party, chocolate party, 80's party, 50's party, barbecue, fairy party, tropical flower party, black %26amp; white, Glamour girl, Glitter party, Aqua party, Celeberity party, Sweet 16, mall party, Fear-Factor party, Sleep-over party, Laser Tag party, Hollyowood Star party, V.I.P party





EXTRA STUFF: goody bags, pinata..lol..(put blind fold on everybody) glow sticks





FOOD: barbecue food, burgers and vegetarian burgers, pasta, pizza,chips, soda, ice cream(have them make their own ice cream with cherries,chocolate syrup,sprinkles)fruit, vegetables(celery sticks,carrot sticks,mini tomatoes) or Hawaiian or Chinese food, snow cones, cupcakes, cake

Reply:is it hot/warm weather where u live? probably since u have a pool (omg jealous lol). but anyway you should just get loads of water balloons and water guns, hoses, buckets of water u get the idea lol, and have a massive waterfight trust me its fun

a sleepover, i'd also suggest


having you and your guests


sleep outside in a tent or smthng.

Reply:i go to a big school so there are alot of parties...mine last year was a huge success and people are still talking about it. i invited about 20 people.





just because you want a party doesnt mean you have to be rich.


all i had at my party was pizza, wings, and some snacks like pretzels and chips...also alot of pop!.


when i go to parties that are really boring its because there is nothing planned so we usually just all end up sitting around so its kinda boring!.





so make sure you have atleast one or two things planned to do.





it may sound a little childish but last year at my party we had a huge scavenger hunt. the week before my mom and i thought of things to find and we typed it out. after the party started getting fun i started asking people if they wanted to do it because if noone wants to do it, it wont be fun...so they decided they did so everyone set their alarms on their phones for 15 min. and we split up into groups of 3 or 4. then we went around the neighborhood asking the neighbors if they had any of the items on the list. after the 15 min. everyone came back to the house and we counted up who got the most items. the winning team got a 5 dollar dip'n'dots giftcard. (everyone had fun. and we were about your age). then the other thing we did was the week before i wrapped a 15 dollar target giftcard in wrapping paper hundreds of times. i also kept putting it in bigger boxes to fool people. in the end the person who won it was very excited!





your party doesnt have to have a theme but you could also have one. it just all depends on the time of year and what you enjoy doing.





also google party decor and it will give you some good ideas.





a pool party would be fun though. just remember to tell your friends to bring their bathing suits! :)
