Party Theme....?

I was planning on throwing a 30th birthday party, I was going to do a tiki party, but I just found out that my cousin's wife is going to throw him a tiki party and his 30th birthday is 10 days before mine. So I was wondering if anybody can help me out with some cool ideas for a theme. The party is going to be outside. Thanks for your ideas.

Why not do a laua party I did one and it was Great I kept the food and decorations in that theme also.

Reply:Just like people decide to take a step back in time and have a 50's party, maybe you should do a 30s party, it'd be a great theme swing music in the background, cocktails all around. Go crazy with it, a party is a party
Reply:It is sometimes hard to find a lot of decorations or materials for a given theme so I have done an "Around The World" party before.





You can have multiple rooms from multiple countires or split the room into four sections.





At mine I had The bathroom filled with cotton balls its theme was Antarctica.


The kitchen was hot hot hot in Mexican style. The colors and decorations were all in the style and food around the kitchen set out was mexican.


In the dining area was France. I had printed out pictures of france things like the eiffel tower, le louve, and written french words on the table cloth. The food was sortof french. I put little french toothpick flags in food.


Finally I did an Asian room. I set a table cloth on the ground and used chopsticks and such.





It is not that much work if you are a creative person.

Reply:If you watch survivor then do a survivor theme I did it once and It was SO much fun. Make them set up camps and make then compete for food. Try it.
