Which parties in Europe are the ideological counterparts of the US Libertarian party? And how close are they?

Are there political parties in Europe that have the same or at least similar political programs like the one of the US Libertarian Party (LP)? Do the European liberal parties count as ideological counterparts of this American party or are they too different? Which are the historical and contemporary libertarian thinkers in Europe whose ideas were/are close to the US LP? What are (if any) the political differences between the US and European libertarians? Can you point some European strictly libertarian web sites?
