Party Help?!?

I really want to throw a party for Valentine's Day (just using it as an excuse to throw a party actually) and I'm the worst party planner ever!





When I go to a party, I'm always the one who knows how to liven things up, but when I throw a party, I am too preoccupied with making sure that people don't go behind my bar and start drinking liquor!





So any ideas on what I could do to make my party fun? If it wasn’t winter I’d say a pool party, but sadly that idea is currently out of the question.





I’m asking for anything you can give me. Fun games to play (besides spin the bottle and truth or dare since those are the obvious), or even a theme (though I’m not one to usually plan parties by doing themes). Anything you can give me, I’m willing to listen. Please be very specific!

Well because it is Valentines day, you should make all the boys come dressed as cupid :P hehe


Themes are always fun...but Valentines day is a hard one....besides just wearing red and pink or coming as a massive heart-shaped chocolate box. Any match-making games would be fun, since it is meant to be a day of love afterall. Do you have any friends that you know are completely in love with someone? Invite them both and play Love god! Haha. Hm...well I know it sounds childish, but a pinata is always good fun especially when you've all had a little to drink. And it could be filled with those heart-shaped candy, you know the ones with messages on? Yeah, well I'm just rambling here, but maybe you'll find some of these ideas useful :)

Reply:We usually play some kind of cards (spoons, poker, SCAT) that involves everyone at the same time or go buy Catch Phrase, that keeps everyone involved and sometimes it gets pretty hilarious answers.

Reply:if its a dance, then pass out prizes/ free drinks to the people who dace the best- always fun!!--just remember what the hosts do when you are at a party. it might be helpful to have a small "crew" to help keep things under chaos (either a hired crew or some friends)
