Which political party do you support and why do you chose to support that political party?

There are many politcal parties including Republican, Democratic, Green, Libertarian, and Constitution. Although there are two major political parties in America; Democratic and Republican, there are other third parties available.

Which political party do you support and why do you support that party?

I support the Republican Party because the Republican Party is the Party of Christian Values and they understand that America should be based off what the Bible Says. This includes;

1. No Abortions.

2. Marriage between a Man and a Woman

3. No Adultry

4. Show Love and Compassion to others

5. America IS "One Nation Under God."

Which political party do you support and why do you chose to support that political party?
I am a Republican because I believe their ideals are much closer to the Founders' concept of ordered liberty. The Democrats appear to be much fonder of what I will call "statism," or overweening government control of many aspects of our lives.

And no, I don't believe limiting people's ability to kill unborn babies, or denying formal state approval of homosexual liaisons, constitute "statism."

One fears that modern day "liberals" are so eager to remove God from public life because they are hoping the government becomes God's replacement!
Reply:How does the Republican party you support show "love and compassion" when Bush vetoes the SCHIP bill, designed to provide vital health-care services to children?

They don't like abortion, that's true, but it seems that once the baby is born, it's on its own! Compassion?

Oh, and I support NONE of the above!
Reply:I support the Democratic party because they are for a woman's right to choose (it's easier for a man not to believe in a woman's right to choose...he doesn't have to take care of the baby for his entire life). Separation of church and state means marriage should be religious only...if that's the case, then there should be no governmental perks (like tax breaks)...that should be afforded to any two people who want to sign a contract. Everyone cheats...get used to it...it's not only Bill Clinton. Demos are against war without a reason...where are those WMDs again? Love and compassion are not equivilent to war. Let me ask you another question? What would Jesus bomb? Just curious...
Reply:Republican mostly...but I'm not into the bible at all...it's fiction.

I think maybe the republican party could do without the abortion BS....I mean I'm not PRO abortion....but I underrstand that if a girl is too young and has no support she should be able to make a decision for herself. It's not an easy decision, nor would it be easy to forget later in life....but who is anyone to tell a girl what to do in such a situation. I think McCain might be good for the republican party....I also would have voted for Rudy...he was my first choice...
Reply:I support the PoWR
Reply:Uh the bible says nothing about abortions or America.

Republican equals No Adultry, Really?
Reply:...yeah dude...the bible says nothing about abortion, America, or, contrary to popular republican belief, gay marraige (besides the quick, one-liner in leviticus, which could be interperated a number of ways, and which is one sentance amidst a huge farking book).

...it does talk about people living inside of whales, surviving to the age 900+ years old, and getting tortured by the "all-loving" god, so I'm gonna go ahead and disagree with you on the basis that a book like that should govern the world's most powerful nation.

Democrat...because I'm the opposite of the guy who asked this question.
Reply:I am a paleo conservative, therefore I cannot support the Republican party, which has bloated federal discretionary spending beyond belief, sold out to the illegal alien groups and frankly isn't doing too hot with the rest of your list.
Reply:Thats exactly why I don't support political parties. I was a Young Republican in highschool and in College. I was part of the Republican establishment and then Neocons and you Religious nuts took over the party. I am now simply a Conservative without a home. And will never support party politics again.

With that said since the Demorats choose to send the two most inappropriate candidates up for their nomination and since you idiot Republicans won't support the only Conservative running, Dr Ron Paul, I will be once again be forced to vote for the wrong who is more right, the Leftist darling open-borders, tax and spend John McCain.
Reply:im Canadain and i support the liberal party of Canada

simply, because im liberal.
Reply:I was a Republican my whole life until recently. I switch to the Democratic party because the Republicans have been taken over by the religious right and I do not support the religious right.
Reply:Party politics are for sheep!!! No abortion? ask Romney, No Gays? Ask Guilianni. No Adultery? ask McCain. Show love? ask Bush. WAR WAR WAR so much for your parties policies! By the way seperation of church and state is in your best interest It helps you practice what you preach!
Reply:LIbertarian...and I think I am against everything you said...which makes me even more of a libertarian or a constitutionalist...

freedom from government is what I want.
