Party planing for my 14th birthday (Read Details)?

Well, it's around that time again.

Last year, I made a big birthday boo boo by inviting 13 girls to sleep over at my house. Total disaster.

But hey! Another year older, another year wiser, right?

THIS year, I've decided to have a party- but not just any party.

A park party.

I want it to be from 7 - 10 pm, because it's going to be one of those cool, late, teenager parties. (Teenage does not mean alcoholic, mind you.)

What kind of activities should I have?

I've never really had a big party before, and I don't want it to bomb.

I plan to have around 35 people. (Boys and girls.)

Does anyone have any "absolutely not's" they wish to share?

Any food and/or beverages that should be required for these kind of parties?

What kind of shuffle mix should I make for the music?

Also, would it be rude to put a brief list of gift ideas on the back?

I wouldn't want to offend my party guests at ALL.

My party is scheduled for the first week in April, so I have time to plan.

You should totally have a water balloon fight! Also, go to the playground/basketball court! If it were my party, I wouldn't have any pinatas. Just have a bowl of candy or something. :]

For music, [maybe] some oldies, definitely r%26amp;b, pop. Chris Brown, Britney Spears [her new album...awesome!]

Soda is a definite plus. If you want, purchase some apple cider. :] Buy some finger food, for sure! Since it's a park party, have a bbq? All up to you. Just giving suggestions.

I don't think you should put the gift ideas in the back. When someone asks you what you want, tell them then.

Good luck! Have fun! Hope you get your perfect 14th party!
Reply:why just 35 more people. do you have to rent the park? if your just gonna start a party there you might want to check the rules. the shuffle mix all depends on the people you have there if they all like that same kind of music it should be easier to choose if they don't then try to please everyone. food is easy for 35 so yeah have chips soda maybe even pizza if you have the cash for it. absloutely not spend all you time with one group of people absolutely not invite people that have major issues with other people you plan to invite.
Reply:Do a game involving water, and if you lose, you get very wet, that way, someone will be miserable and cold all night! YAY! And I would enjoy being wet too.
Reply:Hmm, have silly string! But like hide it, and only give it to the girls in the beginning. Then have them all run out and spray it all over the guys. Haha, I did that a party a long time ago. It was pretty fun!
