What party would you have more fun at???? Sweet sixteen help!?

In my family, birthdays are a very big deal, my mom has thrown the best parties ever since I was little! Our house has been turned into just about anything and all of my friends still talk about them...i have normally invited my close friends to all of my parties but this year i want to invite my whole grade and have a spectacular sweet sixteen!!!!!!!! I have never had a boy/girl party before but I have been to dances and other parties like that but I want to make mine memorable for everyone.....I was thinking of doing either a

- Hollywood/movie premier theme (with lots of photographers, music and more)

or

renting a fun theme park/ amusement park and taking everyone there by bus for the evening

but I am open to new ideas :)

what do you think will really make my party stand out and be memorable and if you have had a sweet sixteen party what did you do and what do you wish you didn't do ( does and don'ts basically) and what makes for a great party! :)

Thank you so much!

That sounds like alot of fun.

I like the hollywood party theme better than the amusment park. I would rent a nice hall or house or something (kinda like that sweet 16 show) have a big red carpet with photographers, get a dj, put tons of pictures of yourself up (because it's your party) lots of decorations, food, drinks and maybe even and oxygen bar! Those things are pretty cool. Also make everyone dress up like they're going to a hollywood party or make people dress up like celebrities! Also make your invitations rememorable!

Have fun with it and good luck! I hoped I helped :]
Reply:The Hollywood theme party sounds fun! You could use a red carpet, and hae appetisers served by servers in white gloves.

My sister rented out a banquet hall last year for her birthday and threw a "murder mystery party." It was so much fun! She went to this site www.nightofmystery.com and they provided her with a variety of themes (medieval, western, a wedding murder, etc) to choose from. She chose "Killing for the Crown" which is a murder that takes place at a beauty pageant. All you do is purchase the package online and they email you all the materials to host the party yourself. They provide the invitations, character descriptions, scripts, plot and everything! Its hard to explain so check it out if your interested. Also, all of the themes include male characters (even the beauty pageant theme). We had a lot of fun! Good luck and Happy Birthday!
Reply:the difference one is more about bring people together (hollywood) the other may not cause people to gel together, they may have fun but the memories will be them on a ride, not fun u have all together at a party.

i think have a big hollywood theme party, and everybody must dress for the red carpet! hav someone as a paparazzo, get people pics taken on the way in, and display the pics on a big screen at the party throughout the night!
Reply:i like the hollywood/movie idea. it sounds amazing.
