Bithday party x4?

My mothers birthaday is today, my aunts is tomorrow and mine is saturday. I have a sisiter who's bithday is 1/3. Here is the promblem we always have one big party. I want my own party. I was going to throw my self a party this year but no one is going to show up because they'll be at the big party. I started planning my party on my birthday weeks ago. They just decided to throw the big party on my birthday yesterday. Am I being selfish to want my own party? Would it be wrong to ask them to move the date of the big party?

Have "your" party for friends and the "big" party for the rest of the family. Then you can have it both ways.
Reply:Well, I would ask them why they chose to do the BIG party on your day when they knew that you were hosting your own party that day. If you really want to make a stand for your self don't go to the BIG party because you will be preparing for the party you planned.... They will miss you and not do the same thing next year.
Reply:There's nothing wrong with wanting, and hosting, your own party. Maybe you could think about inviting different people for whom the different parties won't be too much, like your own friends or co-workers.





I think it'd be all right to ask your family to move the date of the big party. Just nicely explain to them you've always shared it and you'd like to try it this way, but if they have the party on your birthday you won't be able to attend theirs and celebrate their days with them, which you would like to do.
